Playing with Speech Sounds Kit (Manual and CD)

Ages 4 through 9This kit include a CD and an activity manual. The manual includes reproducible games designed for use with children who have speech disorders. The games target specific sounds. The CD includes all pages from the manual, making it easy to print out the reproducible playing boards. The games can be presented by speech-language pathologists or used in home programs. The files on the CD are in a PDF format. The page size is 8.5 inches by 11. Game boards for /ch/, /d/, /f/, /g/, /k/, /l/, /r/, /s/, /sh, /t/, and other sounds are included. The game manual is divided into the following sections:Gameboard Fun. This section includes gameboards for 18 commonly misarticulated consonants, gameboards for clusters with /r/, /l/, and /s/, and gameboards for final consonants. Game activities are included for the boards. Fill in the Word. Each worksheet includes incomplete sentences for a specific sound. Students are challenged to complete the sentences using words with their target sound. All of the gameboards and worksheets may be reproduced.
